Article Your hosting company either doesn’t support the F4V mime type or has not configured the F4V mime type by default in your Apache configuration.

Basically, this means that Apache doesn’t understand that files that end in F4V are video files and doesn’t know what to do with them.

The workaround is to add a similar mime type to allow your videos to run in full-screen mode.

Add the line below to your site’s .htaccess file after the line that reads “Options –Indexes –MultiViews”:

AddType video/mp4 .f4v
